can be purchased at Sandwich Town Hall. There
are BEAUTIFUL beaches in Sandwich, just a short drive
from the Shady Nook Inn;
1) Hemisphere Beach (formerly known as
Horizons Beach) which is approximately 1 mile away,
2) Town Neck Beach & Boardwalk ;
On Town Neck Road; it has a really cool boardwalk over
the marsh on the way to the beach. It
is approximately 1.5 miles away from the Inn,
3) East Sandwich Beach; Off
Ploughed Neck Road off Route 6A. Approximately 5 miles,
4) Sandy Neck Beach; A bayside
beach that extends into Barnstable; four wheel vehicle
access. Approximately 6.5 miles.
5) Mashpee-Wakeby Pond Beach; Fresh water
pond off of Sandwich-Cotuit Road
